Learn how to make the best keto coffee recipe that’s silky smooth and tastes JUST like a latte! Made with ZERO grams of net carbs.Â
Firsty, Most of us can’t function without at least one cup a day, or if you’re like me, several. For those of us on a low-carb diet, I’ve devised the perfect keto-friendly recipe to get your daily fix while staying on track.
Why I love this Coffee recipe
- An easy meal replacement. Moreover, Some mornings, all I have time for is my coffee, and luckily this one can keep me full and energized for hours.
- Ready in two minutes. Just blend it up, and you’re ready to go. It’s that simple.Â
- Customizable. Add your favorite sugar-free syrups, sweeteners, or even keto coffee creamer!
- So many health benefits! The combination of oil and butter creates appetite-suppressing effects, helping to aid in weight loss, while healthy fats and antioxidants give the coffee a nutrient boost.
Ingredients needed for Coffee
- Black coffee. Of course, coffee is the most important ingredient. I always recommend using a high-quality brand, as some coffee beans contain mold toxins. Instant coffee or espresso can also work if that’s all you have. Â
- Coconut oil. Adds an extra layer of richness. MCT oil can also be used.Â
- Unsalted butter. I prefer the natural flavor of grass fed butter.Â
- Heavy cream. I also tested whole milk, and while you could use either, I strongly preferred the texture and richness of heavy cream or heavy whipping cream.Â
- Cinnamon. Just a pinch to add some warming flavors.Â
- Sugar substitute. Only add this if you prefer a sweeter coffee. I don’t always add this, but when I do, I prefer stevia or a brown sugar substitute.

Make it dairy-free. Use coconut condensed coconut milk.Â
Cut the caffeine. Use decaffeinated coffee.Â
Add sugar-free syrup. Try one ounce of vanilla, salted caramel, hazelnut, mocha, or keto simple syrup.
Or try extracts. Add one teaspoon of vanilla extract, peppermint extract, or almond extract.Â

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between this coffee and regular coffee?
However, The key difference is what is added to the coffee. In regular coffee, you typically add milk, sugar, and/or cream. Moreover, In keto coffee, you add coconut oil, butter, and either half and half or heavy cream.
Can you drink this coffee every day?
You can drink 1-2 cups of keto coffee every day. Drinking anything caffeinated in excess can lead to interrupted sleep, so monitor your tolerance if concerned.
Can I use whole milk instead of heavy cream?
While whole milk in small amounts is suitable for a keto diet, heavy cream is a much better option. It has fewer carbs and yields a much creamier beverage.
